Fair Use Guidelines

We aim to protect against abuse of our platform while still giving you the freedom to explore Fotify risk-free. A full refund is automatically offered if your usage meets both of the following conditions:

  • RSVP Limit: Fewer than 10 RSVPs have been confirmed or accepted for your event.
  • Photo Limit: Fewer than 20 photos have been uploaded to your event.

Once your event surpasses 10 RSVPs or 20 photos, we consider it “actively used” and no longer automatically eligible for a full refund. However, if you feel you still deserve a refund despite surpassing these limits, please contact us at hello@fotify.app, and we will review your case and provide a response as soon as possible.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Send an email to refund@fotify.app.
  2. Include your event details (e.g., Event ID, organizer’s email).
  3. We’ll confirm your usage status and process your refund request as soon as possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days for refunds to appear on your original payment method.

One-Time Event Purchases

One-time event purchases follow our standard fair use guidelines above. Since these events never expire and can be activated whenever you choose, refund eligibility is determined at the time of your request based on actual usage (under 10 RSVPs and 20 photos).

  • Unused Events: Events that have never been started (status: UPCOMING) are fully refundable at any time.
  • Started Events: Events that have been started are subject to the fair use thresholds described above.

Event Subscriptions (Monthly/Annual Plans)

Event subscriptions provide access to run multiple simultaneous events for a recurring fee. Refund eligibility for subscriptions differs from one-time purchases:

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your event subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
  • Upon cancellation, you receive a 7-day grace period during which your events continue to work normally.
  • You may reactivate your subscription during the grace period to continue your subscription seamlessly.
  • After the grace period expires, active subscription events are automatically finished. You retain access to view and download content according to the gallery access duration.

Refund Eligibility

  • First Billing Cycle: If you cancel within the first 14 days of your initial subscription and have not started any events or your events remain under the fair use limits, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Subsequent Cycles: Subscription fees for the current billing cycle are generally non-refundable once charged, as subscriptions provide immediate access to Premium features.
  • Annual Plans: If you cancel an annual subscription mid-term, we may offer a prorated refund for unused months on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your situation.
  • Payment Failures: If your payment fails, you enter the 7-day grace period. No additional charges occur until you update your payment method and reactivate.

Grace Period Details

The 7-day grace period is designed to protect your events and give you time to decide:

  • During Grace Period: Your events continue to work normally. Guests can still upload photos and videos, and all features remain active.
  • Reactivation: If you resubscribe within the grace period, your subscription continues seamlessly with no interruption.
  • After Grace Period: If you do not resubscribe, subscription events are automatically finished. This action is irreversible—you would need to purchase new events to continue.
