How to Add a Custom Frame to Photos

Add a decorative frame around photos displayed in your live carousel. Custom frames are perfect for branded events, weddings, or adding a special touch to your photo display. This feature requires a Premium Event plan.

Setting Up Your Frame

  1. Go to your event's Branding settings
  2. Upload your custom frame image (PNG with transparency works best)
  3. Save your branding settings

The frame should be designed to wrap around photos, with a transparent center where the photo will appear.

Enabling the Frame in Carousel

  1. Go to PhotosLive Photos
  2. Click the Settings (gear icon)
  3. Enable "Custom Frame Overlay"
  4. Click the Frame Settings (grid icon) to adjust positioning

Adjusting Frame Settings

Fine-tune how your frame displays:

  • Photo/Video Size: Scale the photo within the frame
  • Frame Size: Scale the frame itself
  • Frame Position: Choose if the frame appears behind or in front of photos
  • Branding Logo: Toggle your logo visibility with custom frames

Tips for Great Frames

  • Use PNG format with transparent backgrounds
  • Design frames that work in landscape orientation
  • Test your frame with different photo sizes
  • Keep important frame elements away from the center
