Event Subscription Plans

Fotify offers subscription plans for users who run multiple events simultaneously. Instead of purchasing individual events, you pay a monthly or yearly fee and can run up to 3 or 6 active events at any time. All subscription events include Premium features.

Understanding Active Events

Your subscription limits how many events can be active at once. Here's what counts toward your limit:

Events That Count Toward Your Limit

  • Live Events - Events currently running and accepting photos from guests
  • Paused Events - Events temporarily paused but not yet finished

Events That Don't Count (Unlimited)

  • Upcoming Events - Events created but not yet started. You can prepare as many as you need
  • Finished Events - Completed events. Photos remain accessible according to your gallery access period

Example: With Event Starter (3 active events), you can have 2 Live events + 1 Paused event, plus unlimited Upcoming and Finished events.

How to Subscribe

  1. Go to your Fotify Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Subscriptions > Event Plans
  3. Choose your plan (Event Starter or Event Professional)
  4. Select billing frequency (Monthly or Yearly)
  5. Complete checkout via Stripe

Your subscription activates immediately after payment.

Creating Subscription Events

Once subscribed, you can create events that use your subscription:

  1. Click Create Event in your dashboard
  2. Your event will automatically use your subscription (no additional payment)
  3. Configure your event as usual
  4. Start the event when you're ready

Remember: You can create unlimited Upcoming events, but you can only Start events up to your active limit.

Managing Your Active Event Limit

If you've reached your active event limit and need to start a new one:

  1. Finish an existing event - Mark a Live or Paused event as Finished to free up a slot
  2. Upgrade your plan - Switch from Event Starter (3) to Event Professional (6)

When you try to start an event that would exceed your limit, you'll see a message showing your current active count and maximum allowed.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription anytime:

  1. Go to Subscriptions > Event Plans in your dashboard
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Confirm the cancellation

7-Day Grace Period

When you cancel, you get a 7-day grace period:

  • Your events continue working normally - Guests can still upload photos, all features remain active
  • You can reactivate anytime - Resubscribe during the grace period to continue seamlessly
  • No additional charges - You won't be charged unless you choose to resubscribe

After the grace period expires, your subscription events are automatically finished. You'll retain access to view and download photos according to the gallery access duration.

Billing & Payments

Payment Methods

Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You can pay with:

  • Credit or debit cards
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available)

Billing Cycle

  • Monthly: Charged on the same date each month
  • Yearly: Charged once per year (save 2 months)

Changing Plans

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan:

  • Upgrading: Takes effect immediately. You're charged the prorated difference
  • Downgrading: Takes effect at the next billing cycle

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you enter the 7-day grace period. Update your payment method and reactivate to continue your subscription.
