Get Help: Support Chat and Tickets
Support lives inside your dashboard. Click the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of dashboard.fotify.app to open the support panel. It has two tabs:
- Chat โ an assistant that answers immediately, any time of day
- My tickets โ your conversations with the Fotify team
The Support Assistant
The chat is answered by an assistant that knows Fotify inside out โ and, because you're signed in, it can securely look at your own account to give you real answers instead of generic ones. Ask things like:
- "How do I get my event's QR code?"
- "How many guests have confirmed for my wedding?"
- "Did my invitation emails go out?"
- "I paid but I can't find my event"
It checks your actual events, guest lists, photo stats and email history before answering.
It can also set things up for you
If you'd rather describe what you want than click through the dashboard, just ask. The assistant can change most of your event's settings for you:
- RSVP and guests โ deadline, guest list, the questions your form asks (including date fields, side-by-side layouts and questions that only appear for certain answers), whether each companion is named, who receives the response notifications
- Seating โ tables, the venue layout, who sits where
- Photos and albums โ approving pending photos, organizing albums, the public album and upload page settings
- The rest of your event โ itinerary, sub-events, guest tags, registration links, gift registry, games, branding
Nothing is ever changed without your approval. The assistant proposes the change and a confirmation card appears in the chat showing exactly what it will do. The change happens only when you tap Confirm. Tap Cancel and nothing is touched.
When a change replaces a whole list โ your RSVP questions, for example โ the card also names any question that would disappear, so you can cancel before losing answers guests already gave.
What it can't do
Some things stay in your hands, by design. The assistant cannot delete anything (guests, photos, albums, tables), cannot send or schedule emails to your guests, and cannot change your invitation design. For those it will take you to the right dashboard page instead. Designing your invitation has its own tool: the AI Design Studio.
Support Tickets
Some things need a person โ refunds, billing questions, bugs, or anything the assistant can't resolve. In those cases the assistant opens a support ticket for you automatically, with a summary of your issue so you don't have to repeat yourself.
You can also open a ticket yourself: go to the My tickets tab and press New ticket.
Following your tickets
Every ticket shows its status:
- New / Open โ with our team
- Waiting for you โ we replied and need your answer
- Resolved โ closed; send a new message to reopen it
When our team replies, the answer appears inside the ticket in your dashboard, and you'll also receive an email notification. To respond, open the ticket and reply there โ replies sent by email may take longer to reach us.
For a bigger view, open the full ticket page at dashboard.fotify.app/support/tickets โ the link in our email notifications takes you straight to the right conversation.
Attaching screenshots
A picture usually beats a paragraph. In any ticket, use the image button next to the message box to attach up to 3 images per message (JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 8MB each). Screenshots of error messages or unexpected screens help us resolve issues much faster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Am I talking to a bot or a person? A: The chat is answered by an AI assistant that can see your account and solve most questions instantly. When your issue needs a person, it opens a ticket and the Fotify team takes it from there.
Q: Can the assistant change things in my account without asking? A: No. Every change is shown as a confirmation card in the chat and only happens after you tap Confirm. The card spells out what will change, including anything that would be removed.
Q: Can it delete a guest or a photo for me? A: No. Deletions, emails to your guests and design changes are never done from the chat โ the assistant will take you to the page where you can do it yourself. Everything else about your event, it can set up for you.
Q: Where do I see the team's answer to my ticket? A: In the My tickets tab of the support panel, or at dashboard.fotify.app/support/tickets. You'll also get an email notification when we reply.
Q: Can I still email you? A: Yes โ hello@fotify.app works and creates a ticket too. Email conversations are answered by email; dashboard tickets are answered in the dashboard.
Q: Is my conversation private? A: Yes. The assistant can only access the account you're signed into, and your conversation is only visible to you and the Fotify support team.
